Overiders - definition

« Overiders » is an expression coined from the contraction between « over » and « riders » referring to athletes who dare to push beyond the limits in their fields. They take considerable risks, pushing the boundaries in their respective disciplines to achieve exceptional levels of performance through determination and passion. They inspire us every day.

The project in a few phrases

The Overiders project offers a participatory financial support platform for extreme sports athletes throughout their communities : skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX, scootering, surfing, snowboarding, base jumping, Parkour, FMX, snow kiting, DH… As well as to the various actors within this field : content creators, media, craftsmen, artists, entrepreneurs, etc. Thanks to a continuous or one-off support option, you can contribute to the realization of their lifes’ journey, sporting journey, projects (videos, events, etc.)

What makes Overiders unique when compared with other participatory platforms?

Our hope is that with YOUR support, Overiders can see the light of day and not through investors who are waiting for a return on their initial investments. It is not possible for our team to involve private investors who will be seeking a payout from the future profits of the Overiders platform.

Therefore, by creating this participatory space which is simple and direct, with the same economic model as other existing platforms, the tax collected on the various payments will allow Overiders and its team to continue, but also and above all to come to the aid and support the different clubs, associations, projects, sporting and cultural events around extreme sports: a sort of virtuous circle throughout the world.

Our History (Summarized version)

Passionate about extreme sports that I have been practicing since my adolescence (freestyle roller skating, skateboarding, dirt biking, bodyboarding), I would like to get more involved in this univers. In 2021, I set up as an independent graphic & web designer, at the same time I am worked on different personal projects with the desire to create a brand around extreme sports.

It was by discussing with various pro riders, concerning my future brand of ethical and high quality clothing, that I realized how difficult it is for these athletes to advance peacefully in their passion. I then continued my research and France is not an isolated case. The obstacles that these high-level athletes encounter in practicing and making a living from their sport are numerous. I therefore decided to change my initial project in order to find solutions and bring real progress to their daily needs and in their respective life projects. Overiders was born.

It’s a bit of a crazy project, I admit! It has already evolved a lot since its creation and the first version I made of it. We have already made significant progress on various administrative and legislative points, cost evaluation, brand identity, web design, part of the development, communication, strategy, partnerships... Experts are accompanying us in this incredible adventure to carry out this project but all this comes at a cost.

Today, we are reaching a new decisive stage and we need everyone's solidarity to achieve our objectives and create Overiders. See you very soon for the rest of the events which I know will have some surprises in store for everyone.
